Police Charge Two With OUI and Domestic Assault
The following information came from the Swampscott Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.
Sunday, Jan. 12
4:44 p.m., police charged Jose Rodriguez, 56, 1004 Paradise Road, Apt 1C, Swampscott with domestic assault and battery.
6:01 p.m., police received a report of a power line down in the street on Middlesex Avenue.
Monday, Jan. 13
1:27 a.m., police received a report of an erratic operator heading into Swampscott. Police charged Elsa Perlera, 35, of 58 Moffatt St., Salem with OUI, liquor, and negligent operation of a vehicle.
5:27 a.m., a caller reported a gray pick-up truck with a cap was possibly involved in the theft of downspouts.
12:18 p.m., a Franklin Avenue caller reported that a raccoon was flopping around in her driveway and she could not get into her home.Â
12:20 p.m., a caretaker for Holy Name Church reported that more downspouts were taken from the hcurch overnight. There were 12 downspouts taken.
1:38 p.m., police received a report that the driver of white Cadilac was screaming at women on Lynn Shore Drive.
8:27 p.m., a Littles Point Road resident reported that downspouts were stolen.
