Prowler on Morton Hill Avenue
The following information came from the Swampscott Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Friday, Sept. 6
- 0:10 a.m., an employee at a Paradise Road business reported that a woman just left the parking lot in a vehicle and she looked like she was intoxicated. Police checked the area but did not see the vehicle, as described by the employee.
- 1:08 a.m., a caller reported a dog was barking in the back of an Arbutus Road property. The caller said it was an ongoing problem. The dog was inside the home.
- 6:08 a.m., two vehicles parked on Columbia Street were ticketed.
- 10:58 a.m., a prowler was reported on Morton Hill Avenue. A thin man with short gray hair approached girls in a backyard and fled towards Lynn.
- 11:32 a.m., a caller reported a strong smell of gas at Cedar Road and Nason Road.
- 2:25 p.m., a Paradise Road caller requested a well being check on her husband. She had not heard from him since the night before.
- 3:14 p.m., a dead animal was on the sidewalk on Cherry Street. Local person was notified to remove the animal.
- 9:15 p.m., police received a report of a lost dog on Norfolk Avenue. The animal was reunited with its owner.
- 10:15 p.m., a loud group was reported on Stetson Avenue.
- 10:57 p.m., a loud car stereo was turned off on Pine Street.
- 11:55 p.m., one call only from Orchard Terrace reporting multiple gunshots.
- 1:14 a.m., police received a report of people arguing outside two vehicles at 221 Paradise Road. It was Salem State students.
- 2:29 a.m., a caller reported a young male went around the building. The caller thought the activity was suspicious.
- 8:27 a.m., a caller reported that a dog was barking incessantly on Humphrey Street.
- 10:51 a.m., a caller reported an unleashed pit bull was heading towards Marblehead on Humphrey Street.
- 1:12 p.m., a caller reported a fight in the yard at a Roy Street address. The call was perhaps a prank.
- 1:30 p.m., police received a call from a woman on the beach path behind the far parking lot by the practice football field. The woman said a kid was there with what looked to be stolen property. Police charged two juveniles, 14 and 15 years old, with breaking and entering a motor vehicle.
- 10:46 p.m., an ambulance was on the way to Prospect Street responding to a report of a person down or passed out, possibly drunk.
