Selectmen Scheduled to Appoint Planner
Parking, goals and filling a police vacancy are also on the board's agenda.

Selectmen are slated to meet tonight, Aug. 7, to talk about beach parking, filling a vacant police officer position and the board's goals.Â
The board meets at 7 in the selectmen's room at Town Hall.
The board is scheduled to go behind closed doors at the beginning of the meeting to talk about strategy with respect to litigation.
The board is also slated to appoint a planner, someone to replace departed Town Planner Pete Kane.
Town Administrator Tom Younger said earlier that the town received at least 21 applicants for the open post before the field was narrowed for interviews.
Kane's salary was $48,000 per year for the fulltime, permanent position.
