Shaw's Closing 3 'Underperforming' MA Stores
The supermarket chain is calling the locations - and a New Hampshire one - "underperforming."

Shaw's is closing three "underperforming" locations in Massachusetts next month, the company said. The supermarket chain will also shutter a New Hampshire location.
Stores in Plymouth, Lynn, Leominster and Portsmouth, N.H., will be affected.
Sixteen Shaw's would remain - 15 of which are in Eastern Mass. and another in Worcester.

"Like all retailers, we're constantly evaluating the performance of our portfolio of stores," the company said in a statement. "Closing an underperforming store is always a tough decision, but we're focused on growing our business by being the favorite local supermarket, and running great stores where people love to shop."
