Skunk Gets Its Back Up and Two Arrests
The following information came from the Swampscott Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Aug. 26
- At 0:28, a man reportedly checking car doors along Essex Street in the area of American Trust Mortgage.
- At 8 a.m., police charged Ravair Costa, 25, of 34 Francis St., Everett, with driving with a suspended license.
- At 1:46 p.m., police charged Christopher Nagle, 19, of 39 Rockaway St., Lynn, with driving a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
- At 2:26 p.m. a bike theft was reported on Middlesex Avenue.
- At 7:28 p.m., an Andrew Road caller reported a package stolen from his front porch.
- At 9:32 p.m., the manager at the Game Stop reported that a man known to her trashed the store after he was refused some sort of service. The man reportedly knocked over several displays.
- At 7:51 a.m., a report of a motor vehicle accident at Danvers Road and Essex Street.
- At 8:19 a.m., a report of items missing from a storage area at 1004 Paradise Road.
- At 4:11 p.m., a Paradise Road caller reported that her ex-boyfriend had opened up a Comcast account and ran up a big bill.
- At 4:55 p.m., police recieved a report of an infant left in a car on Cherry St.
- At 7:47 p.m., a Humphrey Terrace caller reported a skunk was in his front yard and the "the skunk ain't backing down." Caller asked police to respond. They did.
- At 0:57 a.m., a fare was reportedly assaulting a taxi driver on Crescent Street.
