A dangerousness hearing for a Swampscott resident accused of assault with intent to murder was continued to Sept. 24.
Kimberly English, 49, of 40 Hillside Ave. was scheduled for the hearing on Sept. 17 but will remain held without bail until next week's heaing.
English, a Lynn elementary school teacher, was arraigned last week in Lynn District Court in connection with hit-and-run charges involving her ex-husband's girlfriend on Sept. 10.
At the arraignment the judge, James Wexler, entered a not guilty plea for English.
The suspect faces a charge of assault and battery with intent to murder, as well as assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, leaving the scene of personal injury, operating left of center, operating to endanger, a 209A violation, and speeding, police said.Â
