Suspicious Individual Reports and Accidents

The following information came from the Swampscott Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, Dec. 24

12:21 p.m., a caller reported that a woman in her 40s on Pleasant Street was acting suspiciously. It appeared she had items stuffed into her black leather jacker/waist line. Police did not locate the person.

2:07 p.m., police assisted with a paperwork exchange after an accident in the Whole Foods Market parking lot.

5:55 p.m., a minor accident was reported at Walker Road and Swampscott Avenue.

8:22 p.m., a caller asked for a well-being check for a man sleeping in a red van parked in front of Walgreens, on Paradise Road.

Wednesday, Dec. 25

2:06 p.m., a Walker Road caller reported an electircal sounding hum coming from somewhere in the neighborhood. Police checked it out but did not hear the noise.

10:51 p.m., police received a report of a missing person at a Paradise Road residence.

Thursday, Dec. 26

1:51 a.m., a caller reported a car alarm was going on and off in the Sherwood Road area.

4:21 a.m., police received a report of a barking dog in the area of Beverly Road and Puritan Road.

10:41 a.m., a 65-year-old woman was unable to move or walk due to a back problem. She was transported to the hospital.

2:42 p.m., police received a report of a vehicle striking a fire hydrant on Harrison Avenue.

3:40 p.m., a neighbor reported a suspicious person at Brooks Terrace and Forest venue residence. The person was in the bushes and walking around the home. Police said the party checks out.

4:38 p.m., a third-party caller reported that a motor vehicle slid off the road and into a tree. No personal injury was reported. It took place on Foster Road.

10 p.m., a Redington Street caller reported a lot of yelling and screaming.

11:33 p.m., a juvenile previously reported as missing was now home.
