Swampcott Library Expands Historic Photo Archive
The Swampscott Public Library is adding historic photos to their online archive to celebrate the library's centennial.
SWAMPSCOTT, MA – The Swampscott Public Library has added a series of historic town photos in honor of the library's centennial.
Susan Conner, the library's assistant director, has been uploading photos chronicling the town's views, buildings, schools, and more on the library website. The photos also depict sports photos from the Stanley School, Hadley Junior High, and Swampscott High School.
The photos celebrate the anniversary of the library's inception 100 years ago. The library is also celebrating with a series of events through December.
