Chris Dwyer of Swampscott was selected as MVP of the Triple-A Minor League World Series championship game.

Swampscott's Chris Dwyer tossed a gem in Allentown, PA, Tuesday night, and Swampscott friends were there to witness it.
Chris had a perfect game going into the 7th inning and was named the game's MVP as the KC Royals' Triple-A affiliate — the Omaha Storm Chasers — edged the Durham Bulls 2-1.
In the stands at Coca-Cola Park were Chris' longtime classmates Kevin Marrie, Andy Glaab and Matt O'Brien.
