Swampscott Candidates Forums Set For Next Week

Residents can submit questions for a pair of town election candidate forums to be held Monday and April 15.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Swampscott residents can submit questions for next week's pair of town election candidate forums.

The last day to register to vote in the April 27 town election is Wednesday.

Questions can be submitted using this form.

The virtual forums will be held Monday for the Board of Health and School Committee, and April 15 for the Moderator candidates and Select Board.

Both events will be virtual with live streaming on Facebook Live, Zoom and Swampscott cable access starting at 7 p.m.

Questions can also be submitted at swampscottcandidateforum@gmail.com or via Twitter and tweet questions to @SwampscottVote.

Moderators will choose four to six questions for each race and will ask the questions to candidates.

Those providing questions must also include name, address, precinct, phone and email. Questioners will be notified by April 11 if their question has been chosen.
