Swampscott Cultural Council Launches Community Survey

The Swampscott Cultural Council is collecting opinions to help prioritize future funding.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA – The Swampscott Cultural Council is looking for community input to help set their fundraising priorities, according to a post on the town website. The online survey is expected to close by Aug. 15, and needs participants ages 18 and older who live in Swampscott.

The survey asks which areas participants think are most important for funding, and which activities families enjoyed the most. According to the post on the town website, the council receives annual funding from the state, and passes it on to local arts and cultural activities through grants.

The council has funded the summer concert series, North Shore Orchestra, school activities, and other programs. Click here for more information, and to take the survey.
