Swampscott Horribles Parade Returning For 4th Of July 2021
The Shaw Improvement Association will sponsor the parade that is in its 78th year.
SWAMPSCOTT, MA — While legal fireworks shows could be tough to come by coming out of the coronavirus crisis this year, Swampscott is having its 78th Horribles Parade on the Fourth of July.
The Shaw Improvement Association will once again sponsor the rolling event to take place on Sunday morning.
Residents are invited to decorate their cars, trucks, floats, bikes, rollerblades, scooters, skateboards and pets — if they wish. There will also be an award for the best-decorated house along the parade route.
