Swampscott Issues Curbside Recycling Reminders
The Town of Swampscott issued a handful of important reminders about curbside recycling.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA – The Town of Swampscott has posted some important reminders about curbside recycling on the newly redesigned town website. Residents no longer need to separate recycling materials, and bins must be clearly labeled. The tips are as follows:
- All recycling has to be in bins or barrels that are clearly marked as recycling.
- Cardboard boxes have to be broken down, and boxes larger than 3 feet by 3 feet have to be broken down to that size.

- If the broken-down cardboard doesn't fit in the bin, residents can tie the pieces together and put it under or on top of the bin.
- Paper, cardboard, plastics, aluminum, and glass may be put in the same bin.
