Swampscott Police Locate Person Sought In Helicopter, K9 Search
Swampscott police said the search was for a person involved in an earlier incident and there is "no threat to the public."

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Swampscott police brought in a helicopter and dispatched K9 units in the area of Puritan Road Thursday morning as they searched for a person they said was involved in an earlier incident.
Police said shortly after 11 a.m. that the person of interest had been located.

Police said there is "no threat to the public."
Swampscott police ask that anyone who sees anything suspicious in the area should call 781-595-1111.
