Swampscott To Open MIAA Football Playoffs Against Raiders
The Big Blue take on the Raiders in the first round of the football tournament.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA – Swampscott heads to the MIAA Football North Division 5 tournament, taking on Watertown Oct. 28 at noon at home.
The Big Blue, seeded third with a 6-1 record, will kick off the tournament against the sixth-seeded Raiders, who enter the tournament with a 3-4 record.
The winner will head to the semi-finals.

The MIAA switched to a playoff format in 2010. The state semi-finals are scheduled for the weekend of November 17 and 18, with state championship games scheduled for December 2 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.
