Copper Downspouts Stolen From Historic Swampscott House

The following is an excerpt from the Swampscott Police Department's log: 


Monday, April 28: 

  • At 7:03 a.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Juniper Road.
  • At 7:33 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Puritan Road.
  • At 8:49 a.m., eight vehicles were ticketed on Depot Road.
  • At 9:20 a.m., the caretaker at the Mary Baker Eddy House on Paradise Road called police to report that the building's copper downspouts were stolen.
  • At 12:52 p.m., police responded to a report of a suspicious man walking around the old train tracks beside the DPW yard. The man was found to be just out taking pictures.
  • At 5:37 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Humphrey Street.
  • At 7:50 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Dead Eye Run.
  • At 8:02 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Vantage Terrace.

Tuesday, April 29: 

  • At 3:55 a.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Humphrey Street.
  • At 4:13 a.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Humphrey Street.
