Swampscott Police Arrest Local Man on Puritan Road

The following is an excerpt from the Salem Police Department's log:Â
Wednesday, May 28:
- At 12:27 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Paradise Road.
- At 7:28 a.m., police responded to a minor motor vehicle accident on Burrill Street.
- At 7:54 a.m., a Suffolk Avenue resident called police to report that someone opened a credit card in her name.
- At 8:03 a.m., police responded to a medical emergency near the intersection of Humphrey Street and Monument Avenue.
- At 2:00 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Paradise Road.
- At 2:30 p.m., police responded to a possible break-in in progress on Foster Road.
- At 2:42 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Redington Street.
- At 3:46 p.m., a woman called police to report finding a hypodermic needle near the bus stop on Paradise Road.
- At 4:13 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian on Pine Street.
- At 9:03 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Humphrey Street.
- At 12:52 a.m., police responded to a disturbance on Puritan Road. Justin Gaglio, 40, of 19 Lincoln House Ave., Swampscott, was arrested on charges of malicious destruction of property valued above $250 and domestic assault.Â
- At 5:41 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a cyclist on Pine Street.
