Illegal Dumping Reported on Humphrey Street

The following is an excerpt from the Swampscott Police Department's log: 


Sunday, May 26: 

  • At 6:35 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Elmwood Road.
  • At 7:34 a.m., police responded to a medical emergency involving a three-month-old baby on Humphrey Street. The baby was transported to North Shore Children's Hospital.
  • At 8:31 a.m., police responded to a disturbance on Lincoln's Landing.
  • At 10:28 a.m., police conducted a well-being check on Paradise Road.
  • At 11:06 a.m., a motorist at the Gulf Express on Essex Street called police to report that they were charged $35 and only $19.96 worth of fuel came out of a damaged pump. An officer spoke with a clerk and made sure the pump was put out of service.
  • At 1:21 p.m., police responded to  a report of suspicious activity on Worcester Avenue.
  • At 2:43 p.m., police responded to a report of a loose dog on Humphrey Street. The animal control officer was notified.
  • At 2:52 p.m., police responded to an illegal dumping complaint near the intersection of Humphrey Street and Ocean Avenue.
  • At 6:02 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Spinale Road.
  • At 7:33 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Linden Avenue.
  • At 10:17 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Sampson Avenue.

Monday, May 26:

  • At 1:38 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Paradise Road.
  • At 2:06 a.m., police conducted a building check on Humphrey Street.
