Alleged Drug Dealer Arrested at Swampscott Marshalls

The following is an excerpt from the Swampscott Police Department's log:
 

Tuesday, May 6: 

  • At 2:22 a.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Paradise Road.
  • At 3:02 a.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Humphrey Street.
  • At 8:03 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Paradise Road.
  • At 9:57 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Puritan Park
  • At 11:21 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Bates Road.
  • At 12:30 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Paradise Road.
  • At 1:22 p.m., police responded to an alarm on North Stone Road.
  • At 2:54 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity near the intersection of Forest Avenue and Supreme Court. 
  • At 3:32 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Sherwood Road.
  • At 6:25 p.m., police responded to domestic dispute on Brooks Terrace. Christine Curley, 33, of 9 Brooks Terrace, Swampscott, was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest and for reportedly having eight outstanding warrants.
  • At 7:44 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Phillips Park.
  • At 7:55 p.m., a Magnolia Road man called police to report "he needs help right away, a squirrel is attacking him" and he was "using a broom to knock it away." Click Here for our full story.
  • At 8:56 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Bates Road.
  • At 9:23 p.m., police responded to a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Blaney and Humphrey streets.
  • At 10:31 p.m., police responded to a report of an erratic operator near the intersection of Blaney and Humphrey streets. 

Wednesday, May 7: 


  • At 1:19 a.m., police conducted an area check on Atlantic Avenue.
  • At 1:53 a.m., police conducted an area check on Railroad Avenue.
  • At 12:15 p.m., police responded to a report of a downed wire on Paradise Road.
  • At 12:44 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Brooks Terrace.
  • At 1:20 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Gale Road.
  • At 1:34 p.m., police responded to a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident on Burrill Street.
  • At 2:16 p.m., police responded to a report of past threats on Paradise Road.
  • At 2:57 p.m., police responded to a shoplifting incident at the Marshalls on Paradise Road. Colleen Gardner, 22, of 118 Adams St., Lynn, was arrested on charges of shoplifting merchandise valued above $100 by concealment, conspiracy to violate a drug law, possessing a class A substance with intent to distribute and larceny from a building.
  • At 4:14 p.m., police responded to a past attempted larceny at the Stop & Shop on Paradise Road.
  • At 5:13 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Hawser Lane.
  • At 10:31 p.m., police responded to a report of an erratic operator near the intersection of Blaney and Humphrey streets.
