Police said Lt. Michael Frayler, a 19-year member of the department, was promoted to the new rank on Tuesday.
SWAMPSCOTT, MA — The Swampscott Police Department has a new addition to its lieutenant ranks.
Swampscott police said Michael Frayler was promoted to the rank of lieutenant on Tuesday.
A 19-year veteran of the department, Lt. Frayler was promoted to the rank of sergeant in 2014.
