Swampscott Weekend Agenda: Rock, Cheer and Spear a Ripe Tomato
You want to accent your weekend with activity? Here are some things to do in Swampscott.

Looking for something summery to do this weekend in Swampscott?
Here are some of the things we found including music and baseball. And we know you will find ripe tomatoes at the Swampscott Farmers' Market.
Swampscott/Marblehead
- The Marblehead Little Theatre at 12 School St. will present the romantic musical The Fantasticks this weekend. Cost:$23 Adults or $15 for Students. For info click on tickets.
- On Saturday, HamJam, a benefit concert by local musicians will play at Crocker Park. (Rain date Aug. 10). Festivities start at noon and go until 8 p.m. It is a free fun day of music and arts.
- On Saturday, free tickets to the North Shore Navigators baseball game.  Bring a food donation for Lynn food pantries. The North Shore Navigators and Gathering Change, Inc. have teamed up to raise hunger awareness and funds for the Lynn food pantries. The game starts at 7 pm at Fraser Field, 365 Western Avenue in Lynn.
- On Sunday, see the Boston Red Sox play Arizona at Fenway at 1:35 p.m. with the Recreation Department. Ticket and transportation $75. Get ticket info here.
- On Sunday, visit the Swampscott Farmers Market. 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Swampscott High, and see cooking demonstrations by G Bar.
- On Sunday, Join the Spirit of '76 Bookstore, 107 Pleasant St., Marblehead, for a book signing and meet-and-greet with Qais Akbar Omar, author of A Fort of Nine Towers: An Afghan Family Story.  Qais will be at the bookstore from 3PM- 5PM on Sunday, Aug. 4 to sign books and chat with readers.Â
- On Sunday, National Grand Bank, 91 Pleasant St., Marblehead will host its 5th annual Antique Car Show in their parking lot from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is weather dependent.
