Thieves pulled nine downspouts from Town Hall and its garage in the middle of the night Tuesday.
Cameras registered the thefts at 2:49 a.m.
DPW Director Gino Cresta estimates the copper downspouts' total value at $1,000-$1,500.
Downspouts channel roof water from gutters to dry wells.
Without the spouts water will fall to the ground muddying the landing spot and splashing mud on to the side of the building.
The DPW director is holding off ordering replacement downspouts in case police crack the case and recover the stolen hardware.
Thieves have struck four other locations in town of late.
