Ogling eyes honed in on the chefs' plates at the Swampscott Farmers' Market Sunday at the annual Chefs' Throwdown competition.
The contest pit the creations by three local chefs against each others and filled the late summer air with sautéed lobster, squash and spices.
A crowd gathered around the judges' table as each dish was served.
