Two People Lying Down in the Street
The following information came from the Swampscott Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, Aug. 8
- At 0:06, police received a report of a loud noise and barking in the area of Millett Road.
- At 9:08 a.m., three vehicles were given parking tickets on Burrill Street.
- At 6:46 p.m., a motor vehicle accident was report by CVS on Paradise Road. No personal injury was reported.
- At 10:09 p.m. a Puritan Road caller reported a man standing next to her home and yelling.
- At 1:06 a.m., police spoke to two women who were lying down in the street at Elmwood Road and Paradise Road. The women, both over 21, said they were playing a game.
- At 2:41 a.m., police were asked to check out a report of a boat being hauled from the water at Fisherman's Beach. The caller thought it was odd for boats to be hauled out in the middle of the night. Police checked out the situation.
- At 8:59 a.m., police received a report of a dog barking for two hours on Rockland Street. The dog was brought in the house.
- At 11:28 a.m., police received a report of a blown transformer and a power outage on Walker Road. National Grid was notified.
- At 12:40 p.m., a man robbed the Four Seasons Motor Group.
- At 11:19 p.m., a Humphrey Street resident sought help with a bat in the house. The bat was moved outside the home.
