Vibe.S Skin Care In Tune to Aging Gracefully

Sally Marie Amore knows better than most the difference a changed appearance can make.

The big nose she was born with was reshaped at 14, the transformation coming at her parents' insistence after years of kids teasing her with cruelty. 

Sally was inspired by the difference the new look made in her life and, later, in 1980, entered the beauty field.

She has remained there, eventually moving away from traditional cosmetics and skin therapy to alternative approaches.

Most recently, Sally, 55, opened Vibe.S Energetic Skin Care at 400 Humphrey St. in Swampscott. She helps clients age with grace.

Sally's target clientele is aged 30-35 and up. Her skin care draws on tuning fork therapy, massage and natural products.

They are an alternative to surgery, synthetic injections and heavy chemical peels, she said.

Instead, Sally focuses on health.

Beauty is health made visible, she said.

Tuning fork therapy delivers vibrations and gentle massage along facial pathways.

It counters signs of aging, such as jowls, sagging skin and superficial wrinkles, she stated. The therapy improves blood circulation, collagen production and cellular renewal, she said.

She also offers traditional deep pore Phytobiodermie cleansing facials.

One of her clients, Julie Perreault, said she noticed the onset of jowls three years ago and felt like her face was deflating. 

She has received tuning fork therapy and vouches for it.

"In the 3 years since, my jowls have essentially disappeared and the collagen and elasticity have returned," she said.
