Water Leak, No Heat and Out of Control Child

The following information came from the Swampscott Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, Jan. 4

00:06 a.m., a water leak was reported at a Burrill Street residence. The Fire Department responded and shut off the water.

1:04 a.m., the Burrill Street resident called back and said she did not have heat. She called the building's owner but has not received a call back. She has also called a plumber but has yet to hear back.

8:57 a.m., a dead animal was found on Greenwood Avenue Extension. Animal control was notified.

10:27 a.m., a disabled motor vehicle was reported at Atlantic Avenue and Humphrey Street. The vehicle was moved.

3:18 p.m., a Magnolia Road caller reported a neighbor hit her car in front of the house.

Sunday, Jan. 5

9:26 a.m., an elderly resident at a Phillips Beach residence reported the house had no heat. The person was unable to contact the heating company. Fire Department was dispatched to the location. A plumber was on the scene.

4:22 p.m., a verbal argument was reported at Stop & Shop.

11:41 p.m., a 12-year-old was reportedly out of control at an Essex Avenue apartment. The child and his mother were transported to North Shore Children's Hospital.
