Swampscott's Tim Cassidy Jr. is pitching at UMass, rehabbing during fall baseball after hip surgery in March.

Tim, who threw for the Lynn Navigators a summer ago, is throwing 87-90 mph and most recently pitched two innings against Fairhaven.

He struck out two and walked two over two scoreless innings.

He is in his junior year but has three years eligibility remaining after being redshirted due to the injury.

His next scheduled start in fall ball is today vs. Dartmouth.
