Where to Find Your Kayak if Moved From Fisherman's Beach

Kayaks moved from racks at Fisherman's Beach on Tuesday are being stored out back at the town police station and pumping station property on Humphrey Street. 

Department of Public Works Director Gino Cresta said the owners need to call DPW, 781-596-8860, to make arrangements to claim their boats.

Owners were required to remove boats from the Fisherman's Beach racks by Oct. 31, per the Board of Selectmen.

Some owners said they were unaware of the deadline.

In the past the removal deadline wasn't enforced and kayaks and prams remained racked at the beach over winter, the director said.

But this year town officials wanted any remaining boats moved after the deadline.
