4. It's Happening Today: The Tewksbury High girls tennis team, which surprised many last year with their first ever trip to the State Tournament, opens their 2013 season with a home match against Central Catholic. The first serves at the Livingston Street courts are at 3:30 p.m.

5. Oh, And Another Thing: The Community Preservation Committee will be meeting tonight at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall. This could be a rather interesting meeting, as the lone specified topic on the agenda is recreation use of CPA funds. Now, CPA money has already been approved for the new tennis courts at the high school. However, there is talk of additional CPA funds being used toward an artificial turf surface for the new athletic field at the high school. Those with any questions about whether CPA funds can be used for that purpose should have their questions answered tonight.
