UPDATED: Police Searching for Suspect in Confrontation Who Pulled a Knife

After an active search by state and local police, officials say the suspect is no longer in the area. Anyone with info should call police.

TEWKSBURY, MA - Police conducted an active search of the fields between Livingston Street and Maple Street just after noon Wednesday searching for a man they say had a confrontation with another person where he pulled a knife. Police say the victim was not injured.

Just after 1 p.m. Wednesday, police said the area was searched extensively by K9 and the Massachusetts State Police Air Wing and the suspect is no longer in the area.

The suspect is described by police as a white or Hispanic male in his 20s or 30s wearing a black hoodie and black jeans. He's 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a thin build and walking a dog, possibly a tan Pit Bull.
