Police Warning Tewksbury About Men Claiming To Be Town Workers Fixing Wiring

Tewksbury police warn of men going around town to fix wiring.

TEWKSBURY - Tewksbury police are warning residents not to fall prey to a group of men claiming to be town workers going around fixing wiring.

Tewksbury police on Thursday repeated a tweet they received from a woman who wanted to know if anyone else had come in contact with these men.

The woman said her dog walker was returning with her dogs on Wednesday and encountered three men who claimed they were town workers.

The men said they could fix wiring. Then they asked about the security cameras in the home.

When the dog walker declined their services the men left.

The resident said she saw that the men had walked around her house because they left foot prints in the snow.
