Election: George Ferdinand Announces 'Contract With Tewksbury'

TEWKSBURY, MA — George Ferdinand is running for a seat on the Tewksbury Board of Selectmen. He is one of four candidates running for two available seats.

3 Fight to make sure that only U.S. citizens can vote in Town elections.

4 Oppose “fee in-lieu of” with regards to affordable units

5 The Route 38 Project: Support the Fair Share Amendment for additional revenue

6 Lobby for overnight work on Route 38 to speed up completion, help businesses and reduce traffic time.

7 Pledge 20% of stipend to be divided between Into Action Recovery and Merrimack Valley Food Bank.

8 Lobby for a Full Time Grant Writer Position that will pay for itself in the short term and help realign the budget if possible/necessary.

9 Support More Senior & Veterans Housing for the North and Trahan reuse

10 Pledge like the Founding Founders to serve 2 terms if elected and go back into private life.
