A group of Tewksbury girls, who call themselves “The Angels for Autism,” wanted to raise money for autism awareness on behalf of their friend Ashley Breen who is affected by autism.
Together, Lily Gigante, Anisha Lacerda, Kaitlin Karlberg, Christina Conti and Whitney Gigante have been working on this campaign for months and launched a Go Fund Me campaign website on April 1 in honor of Autism awareness month.

The group surpassed their goal of $2,000 in less than two weeks. And they aren’t stopping there. The girls are determined to raise as much money and awareness as they can.
The girls decided to get a booth at Walmart this coming Friday, April 17 to try and raise even more money for their cause. They are hoping that their campaign will not only raise awareness, but also that the money they raise will help to find a cure for Autism one day.
