
Frances R. “Fran” Albano, age 51, a lifelong Billerica resident, died peacefully at her home early Monday morning, April 1, from an apparent heart attack during the night.
She was born in Boston, June 3, 1961, one of three daughters of the late Frank and Rosa (Festa) Albano, was raised in the Pinehurst section of Billerica, and graduated from Billerica High School with the Class of 1979.
When in better health, she was employed as a medical records clerk at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington.

She is survived by her sisters, Raffaella Gird of Billerica, Rose Mary Rich and her husband Franklin of Tewksbury; seven nieces and nephews, Chaz Gird, Brian Gird, and Lauren Gird all of Billerica, Stephen Helmer and Brittany Helmer both of Tewksbury, Brandon Rich and Chloe Rich both of Manchester, NH; a grand nephew, Dominic Gird of Billerica; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
