Frost Advisory Monday Night into Tuesday Morning

It may be spring, but after a long period of rain and below average temperatures, a frost advisory has been issued for overnight Monday into Tuesday morning.

The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory from midnight Monday night until 8 a.m. Tuesday. Temperatures overnight are expected to be in the low to mid-30s.

A frost advisory means a widespread frost is expected. Sensitive outdoor plants should be covered to protect them from the incoming frost.

The advisory impacts most of interior Massachusetts with the exception of Northwestern Massachusetts where the growing season has not yet begun.
