Greater Lowell 50+ Job Seekers Networking Group Wants To Help

This FREE group meets the first & third Wednesday morning of the month on Zoom.

TEWKSBURY, MA -- Are you 50 or over and searching for a job? Did you know that 85% of all jobs are found through networking?

The Greater Lowell 50+ Job Seekers Networking Group supports and assists people in the 50+ demographic who are searching for a new job, changing careers, re-entering the workforce after an employment gap, or looking for a “second act” career.

These FREE virtual meetings are held on the first and third Wednesday of the month, from 9:30am to 11:30am, via Zoom. Winter/spring meeting dates include: February 3 (Self-Assessment & Transferrable Skills); February 17 (LinkedIn Basics); March 3 (LinkedIn Advanced); March 17 (Panel Event Focused On Encore Careers); April 7 (Networking 2.0); April 21 (Interview Prep/Age Bias); May 5 (Developing An Interview Brief); May 19 (Panel Event with Corporate Sponsors); June 2 (Marketing Plans); and June 16 (Cover Letters).

Each meeting focuses on a different job skill topic and features different expert guest speakers. Meetings are facilitated by experienced career coach Debbi Hope, MBA, PCIC. Attendance at all sessions is not necessary, but is highly recommended.

Pre-registration is required to participate in the group. Visit www.50plusjobseekers.org, then select “For Attendees,” then select “New Attendee Registration,” and then fill out the simple form. Make sure to select “Greater Lowell Group” as the “Host Site.” Please note the group is open to all Massachusetts residents 50 and over, not just residents of Greater Lowell.
