Gun-Stealing Man Arrested At Tewksbury Motel: Police

Michael Picardi, 33, was arrested Sunday after police responded to the motel for a report of a stolen gun.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Police arrested a Lowell man they found at Main Street motel with what they said was a stolen loaded gun.

Michael Picardi, 33, was arrested Sunday after police responded to the motel for a report of a stolen gun. A regional response team secured the room Picardi was in and took him into custody without incident.

Police said they found the stolen gun in the room.

Picardi will be arraigned at Lowell District Court Monday on charges of unlicensed possession of a loaded firearm and stealing a firearm.
