
Why do we need trees? (Even after experiencing, first hand, after a challenging winter-weather season, a tree falling on and totaling our vehicle, we still appreciate the trees.) Research has shown that trees help people on an individual basis. Among various health benefits, being surrounded by trees can reduce stress, lower blood pressure and boost a person’s mood, give a jolt to the immune system, and enhance sleep quality.
