Juvenile Arrested Following Non-Fatal Tewksbury Shooting
Tewksbury police said one juvenile shot another at the Residence Inn.
TEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury police arrested a juvenile following a shooting at the Residence Inn Friday, the department said.
The victim of the shooting was also a juvenile, the police said in a news release Saturday.
The victim's injuries were not life-threatening, the police said.

The two juveniles knew each other, police said. Police do not believe the shooting was a random act.
The juvenile suspect was charged with "carrying a loaded firearm without a license, carrying a firearm without a license, possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number in the commission of a felony, discharge of a firearm within 500 feet of a building, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon resulting in serious bodily injury, improper storage of a firearm, and possession of ammunition without an FID card," police said.

The suspect was due to be arraigned at Lowell District Court Monday.
All people are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
