Karen K and the Jitterbugs Entertained at This Week's Family Concert Series

It was a warm and sunny good time with Karen K and the Jitterbugs this week at the Livingston Street Playground. The Tewksbury Family Summer Concert Series presented its second of three concerts at the pavilion. Families with kids from infant to teen brought blankets and chairs for the performance. Karen K and the Jitterbugs are a Parent’s Choice Award winning family-friendly band presenting old favorites and original songs.

Summer camps and local care providers took advantage of this free concert, made possible through a generous grant from the Walmart Family Foundation. Special thanks to the Town of Tewksbury Office of the Town Manager, Tewksbury DPW, Tewksbury Community Services and Tewksbury Rotary for their assistance with this community event.

The next concert is set for Wednesday, August 12 at 10 a.m. at Livingston Street with The Stacey Peasley Band. In case of rain the concert will be held at the Tewksbury Senior Center, 175 Chandler Street, Tewksbury.
