Learn to Paddle on Tewksbury's Long Pond This Spring and Summer

You can also learn to kayak and classes start in May for children ages 9 plus and adults.

The town of Tewksbury, in partnership with Still River Outfitters, is once again offering its “Learn to Kayak” and “Learn to Stand Up Paddle Board” water sports classes for adults and children ages 9+ starting in May. Learn these fun recreational activities whil enjoying Tewksbury’s Long Pond. Boats, paddles, flotation gear and lessons are all included in the price.

They are also offering the Adventure Kids three-day session, to get your kids skilled and safe in these hottest water sports. All programs meet at Long Pond, at Whipple Road and Pleasant Street in Tewksbury. Classes are open to residents of all communities, and is also a great activity for family, sports teams, Boy Scout or Girl Scout troops, Youth groups and more.

Come explore the town’s wonderful natural resources and enjoy learning kayaking and stand up paddle boarding.
