Ivan The Handicapped Cat Finds Home After More Than 2,000 Inquires From Across Globe

Ivan, the now famous cat with deformed legs, has found his forever home. The tuxedo cat's new family has decided to remain anonymous. Ivan received nearly 2,000 inquiries from more 40 states, Canada, the U.K., Spain, Thailand, China and Australia. Because of the attention surrounding Ivan, every single cat in MSPCA's adoption room has found a home.

Stoneham Stuns North Reading in Double OT Thriller

The Stoneham Spartans defeated North Reading, 2-1, in double overtime at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, allowing them to advance to the Division 2 North hockey final. The Spartans will face Lowell Catholic in the final next week.

St. Patrick's Day Parade Allows Gay Veterans to March Following Backlash
After backlash and dropouts, Boston's St. Patrick's Day Parade has reversed course and will allow a gay veterans group to march this year. Previously, the parade's website said it will not ban groups based on orientation but "will not allow the advertisement or display of one's sexual orientation as a topic that should in any way be depicted as a theme of our parade." This prompted Mayor Martin, Gov. Charlie Baker, and many state senators to announce that they would not attend the parade. Outvets will now be marching in the parade slated for March 19.

Police Search For Two Women Who Swindled Victims In Five States

Police are asking for the public's help to identify two females allegedly behind the "Grandparent Scam." The women are suspected of calling grandparents claiming that their grandchild is in jail and needs money for bail to be wired to a location. So far they've swindled more than $12,000 from victims across five states- Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Virginia and Washington.

Puppy Tumbles From Third-Floor Window, Needs Home

Luca, an eight-pound pit-bull mix, fell to the ground when a third-floor window without a screen was left open at her home last month. While currently recovering from the 20-foot fall, she is seeking a forever home. Luna will be spayed as soon as she is fully recovered and before she's found her permanent home.
