MIAA Football: Another Close Tewksbury Win To Make Section Finals

TEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury's varsity football team beat Concord-Carlisle 27 to 26 in the MIAA North Division 3 finals, Saturday, Nov. 9. The 2nd-seed Tewksbury started strong, entering halftime up 20-7, but like in their quarter-final game against Lynn English, their opponents made a late comeback attempt before falling just short, with a failed two-point conversion attempt. Tewksbury will host Winchester in the division finals Saturday, again at 1 p.m. The fourth-seed Winchester team knocked off first-seed Danvers with a 42-27 win Friday.
