NOTICE OF UPCOMING WATER SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS ON MAIN STREET

Main Street Water Main Abandonment Work (between James Street and Victor Drive)

Starting on November 9, 2020, the Town’s contractor, MDR Construction will be working on final abandonment of the old water main on Main Street between North Street and Victor Drive. This work will require temporary shutdowns of the Main Street water main along with some side streets connected to Main Street in order to safely disconnect the old water main. Interruptions of water service will occur during these temporary shutdowns. Water service may be off from 8:00AM to 5:00PM on these dates. Although typically, the water service interruptions for similar work has been closer to 11:00AM to 2:30PM.

The following is a tentative schedule of when the water service shutdowns will occur along with the locations that are anticipated to experience interruptions in water service. This schedule is subject to change if there is inclement weather on any of these dates.

  • Monday November 9th – Main Street (from #1140 to #1235 excluding #1147), Kelly Terrace (Entire Street)
  • Tuesday November 10th – Main Street (from #1140 to #1235 excluding #1147), Kelly Terrace (Entire Street)
  • Thursday November 12th – Main Street (from #1319 to #1330)
  • Friday, November 13th – Main Street (from #1481 to #1530)
  • Monday, November 16th – Main Street (from #1481 to #1530)
