Rain Or Shine? Here’s The Memorial Day Forecast For Tewksbury

TEWKSBURY, MA — Memorial Day marks the unofficial start of summer in Tewksbury, and this year, many residents will mark the new season with a three-day weekend filled with memorial services, outdoor events and backyard barbecues.

At this point, your weekend is likely planned to a T. But, as most of us know, Mother Nature could always step in and ruin that carefully outlined itinerary with a trifecta of rain, storms and cloudy skies.

Unfortunately, it looks as if that might be the case for Memorial Day weekend in Tewksbury, according to the most recent forecast for our area.

As you head home from work Friday evening, expect rain; there's an 88 percent chance of rain Friday.

Rain is likely to continue the next morning, with a 98 percent chance of rain Saturday and a high of just 58 degrees.

Sunday and Monday see the chance of rain falling to 47 and 78 percent, but the temperature forecast only rises to 63 by Monday. Dark Sky predicts that rain in the afternoon and evening after the Memorial Day parade and ceremony Monday.
