RTN Offering Free Home-Buying Workshop March 10

TEWKSBURY, MA - RTN Federal Credit Union will be holding a first-time home buying seminar in Tewksbury this week. The two-hour session is free and open to the public.

RTN is located at 345 Main St. in Tewksbury and the workshop will be held on Thursday, March 10 from 6-8 p.m.

“Purchasing a home for the first time is one of the most important financial decisions to make. Our goal is to share our knowledge on how to navigate the process so that when the time comes, those who attend will feel better able to make thoughtful, informed decisions,” says RTN Federal Credit Union Chief Lending Officer Cormac McCarthy in a press release Tuesday.

The seminar will be held from 6-8 p.m. Topics will include how to research a new home, the importance of good credit in financing a home, and the types of financing programs available for first-time home buyers.

Attendees will receive a $250 closing credit when taking an RTN mortgage.
