Suspects in Tewksbury Attack Held Without Bail
Tewksbury man cleared in 2012 fatal stabbing is back behind bars.

LOWELL, MA -- A 29-year-old Tewksbury man, who was cleared of a 2012 fatal stabbing, is accused, along with a North Andover man, of attacking a Tewksbury man with a gun and baseball bat on Saturday, The Sun reports.
In Lowell District Court on Monday, Aaron Russo, 29, of Tewksbury, and Michael Wilson, 39, of North Andover, were both held without bail after pleading not guilty to armed assault with intent to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon,The Sun reports.
A dangerousness hearing is scheduled for Thursday.

The 30-year-old victim man told police he was attacked at around 7 p.m. on Saturday on McClaren Road in Tewksbury, police report.
The victim told police that Russo aimed a gun at him, while Wilson beat him with a baseball bat.

Police are still investigating a motive for the assault.
Russo and Wilson were both arrested was arrested in North Andover.
In a 2012 inteview with family members of Timothy Lewis, 34, of Chelmsford,The Sun said Lewis' family identified Russo as the man who fatally stabbed Lewis during a fight inside a laundry room at 105 Felker St., in Lowell, on Feb. 7, 2012.
An investigation conducted by the Middlesex District Attorney's Office ruled that Russo fatal stabbed Lewis in self defense, The Sun reported. No charges were filed in the case.
