Tewksbury 2017 Memorial Day Schedule

TEWKSBURY, MA -- The 2017 Memorial Day Schedule for Tewksbury is as follows:

11 a.m. 21 Gun Salute at the Miceli Bridge, next to the Knights of Columbus on Route 38

Noon - 1:45 p.m. Ceremony at East Street Cemetery with Guest Speaker Harold F. Brown, III, USAF and Army Veteran, Lisa Downey, Tewksbury Veterans Agent

(In case of inclement weather, ceremony will be moved to Town Hall)

2 p.m. - 4 p.m. Parade begins promptly at Town Center and continues along Main Street to Livingston Street (near Aubuchon Hardware).

Sixty-one groups are participating in the parade including dance troupes, marching bands, cheerleading groups, the Sons of Italy, Knights of Columbus, the Lions Club, the Elks, elected officials, classic cars, Habitat for Humanity, police and fire color guards.

The parade will happen rain or shine. Bring a chair and plan ahead as Main Street will be closed from noon to 4 p.m. Questions can be directed to Selectman Mark Kratman at 978.726.2912.
