Tewksbury Town Meeting Approves $15M New Center Fire Station
New $15M Center Fire Station approved along with $103 million Fy2018 town budget.

TEWKSBURY, MA -- With little debate, Town Meeting on Monday voted to borrow $15 million to build a new Center Fire Station, according to The Sun.
The project is estimated to hike taxes for the average homeowner by about $101 annually for the next 20 years.
With Town Meeting approval, the town will now prepare a bond package to finance the project and then seek bids for an architect so that the designing process can begin, The Sun reports.
