Tewksbury Coronavirus Test Rate Continues Dramatic Decline
The town's positive test rate and case count both fell over the last week.
TEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury's positive coronavirus test rate continued to fall dramatically over the last week, dropping nearly a percentage point, according to the latest town-by-town coronavirus data released by the state Thursday.
The town's two-week positive test rate was 3.16 percent, versus 4.14 percent in last week's report. The town had 138 cases over that period, versus 190 last week.
The town remained moderate risk for infection, or yellow, according to the state's risk classification system.

The town-by-town report labeled 110 Massachusetts communities as high risk for the virus, down from 153 last week, as positive test rates fell in more than three-quarters of cities and town.
